About Me

Hello,

My name is  Nanjiba, I'm a visually impaired lifestyle content creator and advocate. I'm a proud British Bangladeshi Muslim based in London.

This website is a lifestyle blog where I write about my experience being visually impaired.  The aim of my blog posts is to educate everyone about what it's like to live with sight loss. Along with an insight into how the average person can make their platform accessible for visually impaired people. I write about services I've used, museum exhibits and musicals I've seen at the theatre and shows on streaming platforms. I share tips for people with disabilities, and I raise awareness about topics that are discussed within the sight loss community. I also make video content about these topics on my social media platforms.

In regards to my professional background I have a BA in Sociology from Goldsmiths University of London. I've worked in the Sight Loss Charity sector for over 6 years now. The work I did ranged from project management, community engagement, user-testing research and accessibility consultancy. I am a qualified public speaker available for keynotes, podcasts and any other opportunities.

I hope you enjoy following my journey.
